Life is worth living well

Hello! I'm Kaytlynn Corey, a LMHCA and Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate of Seattle University’s counseling program with extensive experience providing psychotherapy in outpatient behavioral health settings. I provide individual therapy to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, grief and loss, perinatal mental health challenges, and significant life transitions. I have also co-facilitated Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills groups in an inpatient behavioral health setting and has worked collaboratively with interdisciplinary treatment teams to support comprehensive client care.
My therapeutic philosophy is rooted in creating a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and valued. I believe meaningful change occurs when individuals are met with compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based care tailored to their unique experiences. Drawing from person-centered, trauma-informed, and skills-based approaches, I empower clients to build resilience, develop practical coping strategies, and move toward lives that are aligned with their values and goals. My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, adolescent and adult mental health, perinatal mental health, life transitions, older adult mental health, and multicultural counseling.
